O'Hara Beach Park is a surf spot located near the Izumi River, known for its sandy peaks breaking between the tetrapods along the coast. It's less crowded compared to Taito, mainly because the surf quality is not as high. The area is equipped with facilities, making it a decent place to hang out after a session.

The surf here is generally suitable for beginners, as it can handle swell sizes around 2 ft (0.6 m) and works best with a northeast swell. You can catch both left and right waves, especially during low tide or on the push. The ideal wind direction is from the west, and all tide heights—low, mid, and high—can produce rideable waves, though conditions are generally better when the swell is organized.

If you’re looking for a place to stay, Ohara Auto Camp has a walking path to the beach and offers basic amenities like showers and toilets. It’s a good spot if you want to enjoy a day of surfing without the large crowds.
