Oase zu Sonne/Westerland UP TILL Campingplatz/Rantum is a surf spot located along a 3 km sandy shoreline. It's a relaxed area where surfers can often find some empty waves to ride. The surf works best with a SouthWest swell direction, but it can handle swells coming from the South and West as well. For swell sizes, it’s suitable for 1 ft (0.3 m) waves, making it a good choice for beginners looking to paddle out without feeling overwhelmed. The waves break over sand, offering both left and right rides. As for the wind, it’s ideal when coming from the East, and you’ll find the best conditions during mid to high tides.

This spot is beginner-friendly, allowing less experienced surfers to practice their skills comfortably. The beach has some easy peaks at higher tides which might even offer a little performance wall now and then.
