It primarily works best with swells coming from the SouthWest and SouthEast, making it a good choice when these conditions align. The spot is known for its fast right-hand wave that offers some fun sections but be prepared as it can get tricky at the end due to the uneven reef.

This wave works well with swell sizes starting from about 2ft (0.6 meters) up to larger sizes, and it is most favorable when the tide is mid to high. The right-hand waves are typically suited for intermediate surfers, especially on the inside where the wave can really push performance in the right conditions. However, keep in mind that the inside reform can be inconsistent, which can be a letdown when it's crowded. There’s also a left nearby that acts as a swell magnet, providing longer walls and barrel sections, especially under light north, northwest, or calm winds.
