Palos Verdes Cove - North Reef, also called Little Queens, is a fast right-hand reef break tucked just inside Ski Jump. The uneven reef throws up quick walls, mostly rights with the occasional left, so it rewards surfers who like to move on a wave.
When It Works
The reef draws swell from southwest through northwest, and it comes alive best on west swells pushing into high tide. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, and it can't handle much size, so keep an eye on the forecast and catch it before it maxes out.
Wind and Tide
Look for a southeast (SE) offshore wind to clean up the walls. High tide is the call here, and a rising tide is generally the better window as the reef fills in.
