Pointe de Dinan is a scenic surf spot that’s not located in the large city of the same name. It’s known for its performance right that breaks over uneven reef. The spot can handle some decent size, and it offers rides that can go up to 200m long, making it a nice place for surfers looking to get a good session in. Keep in mind, though, it can get a bit crowded on weekends, so plan accordingly.

The waves here are mainly rights, and the best swell direction is from the NorthWest, although it can also pick up swells from the SouthWest. The spot can handle swell sizes starting from 2ft (about 0.6 meters) and better during low, mid, and high tides. If you’re an intermediate surfer, you'll find that slalom skills come in handy, especially when the conditions are smaller. There are some lefts in the bay that can break hollow during the pushing tide, offering a bit of variety.

For wind, the preferable direction is from the NorthEast, which adds a bit to the quality of the waves. The combination of the uneven reef and the conditions can lead to some boils and dry rocks at low tide, so it's a good idea to be aware of your surroundings.
