San Blas surf guide

San Blas is a secluded beach break located at the end of a steep concrete road. It's surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it a nice spot to chill out after a surf session. While the waves aren’t the best you’ll ever see, the location offers a unique vibe that’s worth checking out.

The surf at San Blas works best on Northeast swells, but you can also catch some waves with Northwest swells. The place handles swell sizes starting from about 1 foot (0.3 meters) and breaks over sand, which is great for beginners. You’ll find both left and right waves here, so there’s some variety. The ideal wind direction is from the south, and you can surf at low, mid, or high tides. Just keep in mind that the waves can be a bit inconsistent at times.

This spot is beginner-friendly, so if you’re just starting out, it’s a good place to practice. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a nice environment to learn and improve your skills. Just remember to check the conditions before heading out for the best experience.
