Overview
Seapalling is a run of fast, sucky beachbreaks tucked into sandy coves between large offshore sea-defence structures. The waves break over sand and peel both left and right.
When It Works
It draws swell from northwest through north to southeast, with north (N) swell the best match. The break is usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 3.7 m / 12 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for southwest (SW) offshore wind. The coves give good shelter from every direction except an east wind. It surfs on low and mid tide, and a rising tide is generally the better call.
Access
There's limited free roadside parking, plus a pay car park to the south. Miles of exposed beachbreak stretch south from here down to Winterton-on-Sea, but the longshore currents along that section can be brutal, so east swells suit it best.
