Overview
Seaside Creek is an unsigned, fickle beachbreak that peels as both lefts and rights over a sandy bottom. It is easy to ride straight past, and it only comes to life now and then, so it rewards surfers who happen to catch it on the right day.
When It Works
The bank draws swell from south through north, giving it a wide window of angles to work with. It is usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft and favours the smaller end of that range, so it is best treated as a small-swell option. Consistency is low, and it pays to keep an eye out for the days when the sandbar and swell line up.
Wind and Tide
Look for an east offshore wind to clean up the surface. It works best around mid tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Access
You will find it clearly at Highway 1, milepost 70.65, even though nothing marks it. Parking is minimal, limited to a few free roadside spots that can be restricted, so plan for tight room.
