Seestraße Wenningstedt is a sandy beach break on Sylt that peels both left and right. When a southwest swell lines up, it can throw out a hollow, fast wall with long rides.
When It Works
The bank draws swell from south through west-southwest to northwest, but southwest (SW) is the direction to wait for. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.2 m / 4 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for an east (E) offshore wind to clean up the faces. Time your session for mid tide, with a rising tide the better call, since other stages of the tide bring bad backwash.
Access
You'll find showers and a lifeguard on hand. Parking is the catch here, spaces are in short supply, so it pays to arrive early.
