The waves at Solawi work best with southwest swells and can also handle south and west swells. You'll find that the surf can be enjoyable with wave sizes around 3 to 8 feet (about 1 to 2.5 meters). The left-hand waves here are often chunky, with some fun tube sections when the conditions are right, particularly under southeast winds.
