Surfers Paradise is a beginner-friendly beach break that peels both left and right over sand. It's a busy hang-out for all kinds of water users.
When It Works
This is one of Belgium's premier spots when north storm swells fire up the sandbars. It draws swell from west through north to northeast, with north the best match, and works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft.
Wind and Tide
Southeast wind blows offshore here, though the best north storm swells usually arrive on onshore winds and drop off quickly once the wind turns offshore. It works through most of the tide, with a rising tide the better call.

With its forgiving sandy peaks, it's a solid choice for beginners.
Access
Follow the signs for Knokke-Heist to find it. A webcam on the beach clubhouse lets you check conditions before heading down.
