Overview
Taileleo is a mellow, south-facing beach break tucked into the playgrounds area, breaking over sand and offering a fun, easygoing ride. It peels both left and right, so there's room to pick a peak and cruise rather than scramble for a heavy, critical wave.
When It Works
The break draws swell from southwest through southeast, with a south (S) swell the best match. It's usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, giving a broad working range from small, playful days up to more solid mid-size surf. Consistency is moderate, so workable waves show up fairly often even if it doesn't fire every day.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest (NW) offshore wind to groom the surface. Taileleo can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The gentle, forgiving nature makes this a friendly spot for beginners finding their feet, and you can expect a fairly quiet lineup when it's working.
