Texel Paal 15 is a sand-bottom beachbreak that draws swell from the southwest through to the north, with a west-northwest swell the best match. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.5 m / 5 ft, so it needs a little size to get going but stays approachable across that range.
For the cleanest faces, look for east-southeast offshore wind, with a workable wind window stretching from north-northeast through east-southeast to south. It can break through most of the tide, and a rising tide is generally the better call.
