Tracks surf guide

Tracks is a popular surf spot located at Kahe Beach Park. It features a long reef with sandy areas inside, making it a great place for surfers of different skill levels. The spot is known for its scenic views and easy access, with parking right above the beach. The local vibe is chill, and you'll find a mix of surfers enjoying the waves here.

The surf here can work well on various swells. The best waves come from S-SW swells, which produce long lefts. On N-NW swells, you can catch punchy rights. The main peak near the power plant offers electric rights and longer lefts. While the local crew knows the spot well, there are also lesser peaks to explore further north towards Nanakuli. The waves can handle sizes starting at 2 feet (about 0.6 meters) and have both left and right breaks, making it suitable for beginners as well. It's generally offshore year-round, and the tide can be low, mid, or high, so you have some flexibility depending on conditions.

It's a good spot to watch the surfing since the action breaks pretty close to the shore. Just remember to be mindful of the locals and enjoy the vibe. Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your skills, Tracks has something to offer.
