White Sands is a hollow, fast beachbreak tucked in the shadow of a cement works. It breaks over a mix of boulders and sand and peels both left and right, though it's a fickle spot that won't turn on every day. The surroundings are rippy and rocky.
When It Works
It draws swell from the northeast through east (NE-E), with northeast (NE) the best match. The break is usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, and when it lines up you get a hollow, fast wall.
Wind and Tide
Look for southwest (SW) offshore wind. It works on mid and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
