Acquabella is a surf spot located near Ortona, known for its relaxed vibe and scenic surroundings. It's a bit off the beaten path, which makes it less crowded, giving you more space to enjoy your session. To get there, head to Ortona harbour and take route SS 16. After about 2 kilometers uphill, look for the only concrete road on the left and park before reaching the little village.

The surf here breaks over an uneven reef, producing a nice A-frame wave that offers long, slower lefts and shorter but more intense rights. It handles swell sizes from about 0.6 meters (2 ft) and is best with North swells, but it also works with NorthEast swells. The preferable wind directions are from the North. You can surf here at low, mid, and high tides, but it's mostly suited for intermediate surfers looking for a challenge.
