Trabucco surf guide

Trabucco is a surf spot located about 3 km north of Termoli city center along route SS 16. It tends to be less crowded, making it a nice escape for surfers looking for some waves away from the busier spots. The area is known for its scenic views, with a fishing stilt-house standing nearby, providing a unique backdrop while you ride.

This spot works best with southeast swells and can handle swell sizes up to around 0.6 meters (2 ft). You’ll find both lefts and rights here, with good quality A-frames mainly favoring the right-handers. Trabucco breaks over sand and features a mix of reef waves, which can provide some fun rides when the conditions are right. The waves are generally best during low to mid tide and can be surfed by intermediate surfers looking for a challenge.

The ideal wind direction is southeast, so check the forecasts before heading out. With the right conditions, Trabucco can offer some enjoyable sessions without the crowds, making it a solid spot for a day of surfing.
