Il Pescatore is a surf spot located on the south side of San Benedetto’s harbour. It's a scattered beachbreak, making it a pretty laid-back place to catch some waves. Just keep in mind that it can get crowded, especially when the swell's right, so you might want to share the waves with a few other surfers.

This spot works best with small swells, particularly from the SouthEast (SE) and NorthEast (NE), handling sizes around 2 feet (0.6 meters). You’ll find both left and right wave directions, and the waves break over sand, making it pretty forgiving for those who are just starting out. Low, mid, and high tides are all good, but be aware that strong onshore winds can ruin the conditions here, so check the wind before heading out.

For beginners, Il Pescatore is a solid choice, thanks to the gentle beach breaks and the variety of peaks along the beach, especially north of the harbour on SE swells. It’s a great spot to practice and improve your skills without feeling overwhelmed.
