Overview
Blanchisseuse is a sandy beach break with some rocks along its eastern side, and the best peaks usually set up at the western end. It breaks over sand and offers both lefts and rights. You'll find it on the roadside below the Surf Side Country Inn.
When It Works
The beach draws swell from north to east, with a north (N) swell the best match and the setup at its cleanest during the winter months. It's usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft. Consistency is moderate, so expect worthwhile windows rather than surf on every check.
Wind and Tide
Look for a south (S) offshore wind to groom the peaks. It can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This one suits intermediate surfers, in part because the rips here can run very strong and demand real strength and endurance to handle. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it's on.

There's a car park with free parking, plus roadside parking right by the break.
