Las Cuevas, Trinidad surf guide

Surf: The crescent bay of Las Cuevas holds hollow, fast beachbreak peaks in N to E swells up to 6ft (2m). Always better at mid to high tide and bigger at the western end, a good walk from the fishing village and car park. Further west is Tyrico Bay with more gentle peelers for beginners. Environment: Fairly consistent in winter, but flat in the summer months unless there is a hurricane swell.
