Boracéia surf guide

Boracéia is a surf spot located along Brazil's gorgeous coastline, well-known for its scattered peaks that stretch over a decent length. This place can get pretty crowded, especially on good days, but it still manages to offer some fun waves for surfers looking to catch a ride. The beach surf vibe is relaxed, making it an inviting spot for both locals and visitors.

The surf here can handle swells from the East and South, and it works best when the swell size is around 2 feet (0.6 meters). You’ll find both left and right-breaking waves, which is great for mixing things up while you're out there. It’s mainly a beach break, and the waves break over sand, providing a softer landing, which is perfect for beginners. If you're planning your session, aim for low to mid tide, and you’ll have a much better chance of scoring some quality waves. Just keep in mind that the best winds come from the Northwest. But be careful with E swells, as they tend to create stronger rips.

This spot is ideal for those just starting out, so beginners will find it friendly enough to practice their turns and rides. Although it doesn't always produce epic waves, there are plenty of opportunities to improve your skills, especially when conditions align just right.
