Overview
Buggerru - Il Molo is a sandy beach break on the south side of San Nicolò beach, best known for the long, powerful left that peels beside the pier. It picks up rights too, and the water here stays clean.
When It Works
The bank draws swell from south to north, and lines up best on a northwest (NW) swell. It's usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 3.7 m / 12 ft, giving a wide window of workable size, with everything breaking over sand.
Wind and Tide
Look for east (E) offshore wind, though the break also holds a moderate onshore, so it stays surfable when the wind isn't quite right. It works through most of the tide, with a rising tide the better call.
Local Tips
This is a forgiving, beginner-friendly wave, and the lineup is rarely busy, so there's plenty of room to find your feet.
Access
You'll find it on the south side of San Nicolò beach, where several other peaks break along the same stretch. Parking is easy, with free roadside spots nearby. The spot also hosts the yearly Quiksilver invitation contest.
