El Brusco is a surf spot located in a relatively quiet area, making it a good choice when you're looking for some peace away from the busier beaches. The beach itself can get crowded during peak summer times, but outside of that, it tends to be fairly deserted, especially in winter.

The surf here can be pretty interesting, with a good-quality hollow beachbreak that produces A-frame peaks. It works best with a fair-sized swell coming from the NorthWest or North, typically handling swell sizes of around 2ft (about 0.6 meters). The best time to hit the waves is during high tide, and if you can catch some strong offshore winds coming from the South, you’ll get the best conditions. Both left and right waves are available, but this spot is more suited for expert surfers due to the challenging nature of the breaks.
