When It Works
It draws swell from southwest through west, with west the best match, and comes alive on small to moderate west swells. The wave is usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft. Consistency is moderate, and a south wind can blow it out, but it delivers worthwhile windows when the setup lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for a light northeast berg wind to keep it clean, with northeast (NE) the offshore direction. It works through mid and high tide, and a rising tide is generally the better call, with the hollow section standing up best on the higher tides.
