Overview
Fiorenzuola is an easy, long right-hand point break tucked below Mt San Bartolo, just north of Pesaro on the Italian coast. The water is clean and it rarely gets crowded, which makes it a relaxed place to surf. The point runs over sand and rock with deep water off the takeoff, and the walls tend to crumble into forgiving cutback sections. When the bay is working, there's also an A-frame peak breaking inside it.
When It Works
This is a right-hander that peels over an uneven reef and sand bottom. It draws swell from northeast through southeast (NE-SE), with southeast (SE) swell the best match. Expect it to work from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, so it needs a bit of size to get going without maxing out at the top end.
Wind and Tide
Look for southeast (SE) offshore wind, though the point holds up in onshore conditions too, which widens the days it's surfable. It breaks through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.

With its long, easy walls and gentle cutback sections, Fiorenzuola suits beginners looking for a mellow right-hander. The lineup is rarely busy, so there's usually room to find your own waves.
Access
Reach the break by heading just north of Pesaro along the coastal Route SS. 16, at the foot of Mt San Bartolo, and drop down to the beach from the centre of Fiorenzuola di Focara. There's free roadside parking, and the Honolulu surf shop can sort you out with local wave info and gear.
