Overview
FKK Strand List is the northern-most surf spot in Germany, a sandy beach break that serves up both lefts and rights.
When It Works
The break draws swell from the southwest through northwest, with northwest (NW) the best direction. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.2 m / 4 ft. On a low tide the outer sandbank can line up a fun, mellow wave, with long rides that suit longboards nicely.
Wind and Tide
Look for offshore wind from the east (E). The beach works on low and mid tide, and a rising tide is generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is an easy, welcoming wave for beginners. Keep in mind that it stays intimate, with more than five people out already making it feel crowded.
Access
There is a car park by the beach, plus showers to rinse off after your session.
