Overview
Godøy is a boulder right that peels into a rocky cove, with beachbreaks through the middle and a left at the southern end. It sits below the Alnes lighthouse on an isolated island, a genuinely out-of-the-way setup. When it lines up, the reef throws performance walls with enough length to make each ride count.
When It Works
Godøy draws swell from southwest through north, with northwest swell the best match. It's a semi-consistent reef, so timing a good pulse matters more here than at a break that shows every day. The right is usable from 1.2 m / 4 ft to 3 m / 10 ft, breaking over boulders.
Wind and Tide
Look for east offshore wind to groom the walls clean. It can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
Those performance walls and the decent ride length make this one for intermediates and up.

There's free roadside parking close by, so getting in and out is easy.
