Graveyards is a left-hand point break, the slower section further down the point from Main Point. The mellower wall makes it a great place to open up cutbacks, and you'll usually run into fewer seals here than up at Main Point. It breaks over a mix of uneven reef and sand.
When It Works
The point draws swell from south to west, with southwest swell the best match. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, and it's a consistent setup that picks up swell reliably.
Wind and Tide
Look for a southeast offshore wind to groom the wall. It breaks on mid and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
Expect a fairly quiet lineup when it's working.
