Harrow Harbour is a left-hand point tucked inside Tang Head, where a dishevelled platform of reef bends lined-up lefthanders in towards the harbour. It breaks over a rock ledge, and the rocky outcrops and currents are worth keeping in mind.
When It Works
The point draws swell from west through north to northeast (W-N-NE), and a northwest swell aligns perfectly with the rocks for the best shape. It works from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 3.7 m / 12 ft, with the outside handling more size than the inside. Expect it to be somewhat inconsistent, so it pays to catch it when the setup lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for a south offshore wind, though the inside can tolerate more southwest wind than the outside. The rocks need some tidal cover, so the wave comes in on mid and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is a good fit for intermediate surfers, and the lineup tends to stay fairly quiet.

Park at the harbour, where there's free parking and roadside spaces, then walk up the point.
