Hidden Beach surf guide

Hidden Beach is a lesser-known surf spot located in the Rainbow Bay area. It's a good choice if you're looking for something a bit off the beaten path. While it can get crowded at more popular beaches, Hidden Beach offers a unique vibe. The scenery here is pretty chill, making it a nice spot to spend the day if the surf is on point.

This beach is mainly a beachbreak that handles swell sizes around 3 ft. (about 0.9 meters). The optimal swell direction is from the North, but it also works with SouthEast swells. When conditions align, you can catch both left and right waves, which is great for different ride preferences. Keep in mind, it’s mostly suited for intermediate surfers because the waves can get tricky, especially when the tide is at mid-level. For the best experience, look for South winds.

Hidden Beach's breaks are over LiveCoral, adding an interesting feel to your session. If you're in the area and looking for something a bit different from the usual surf spots, it’s definitely worth checking out. Remember to keep an eye on the swell forecasts for the best time to hit the waves!
