Overview
Inside Rights is the furthest reef inside the bay, a right-hander that trades heavy pits for forgiving fun. It breaks over live coral and serves up a mix of lip-smacking walls and little hooks, so average surfers can enjoy themselves without facing death-defying sections.
When It Works
The reef draws swell from southwest through southeast, with south (S) swell the best match. It works from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft and stays a consistent performer when the swell lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest (NW) offshore wind to clean up the wall. The reef can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This one suits intermediate surfers who want fun, playful walls rather than a test of nerve. Expect a fairly quiet lineup when it's on.
