Overview
Jaconé is a sand-bottomed beach break that peels both left and right. The water can be polluted, but the break stays consistent and keeps a quieter lineup than nearby Saquarema.
When It Works
Jaconé draws swell from southwest through north to northeast, and a southwest (SW) angle is the best match. A southwest direction helps with the close-outs here, which can still spin off some cylindrical corners. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft and is moderately consistent, so rideable days show up fairly often without every session firing.
Wind and Tide
Look for a north (N) offshore wind to clean up the faces. The bank works on low and mid tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The waves suit intermediate surfers, and you can expect a moderately busy lineup when it's on.

There's a car park with free parking plus roadside spots, along with restrooms and a lifeguard on hand.
