Jailbreak surf guide

Jailbreak is a surf spot located on the other end of the reef from Logs, directly in front of the jail. It's known for its fast, sectiony lefts that can offer some exciting rides. When the conditions are right, surfers can really enjoy what this spot has to offer. The best time to surf here is when the wind is offshore from the south-west, giving you a nice, clean wave.

This spot works best with a swell direction coming from the north-east and can handle swell sizes starting at about 3ft (0.9m). If you’re skilled enough to challenge it, Jailbreak breaks over dead coral and is suited for expert surfers. It doesn’t matter if it’s low, mid, or high tide; you can expect solid waves when the swell hits properly. So if you're looking for a left that's quick and a bit tricky, Jailbreak could be your spot.

Just a bit further east, you’ll find Narimo Island (also known as Twin Rocks), where you can catch fun lefts and rights that curl around the beautiful island. It’s worth checking out if you want to mix up your surfing experience while you’re in the area.
