Logs surf guide

Logs is located in Vanimo, which is the only natural harbor in the province. This spot features a freight train righthander that can produce some solid waves, especially when the swell hits just right. The waves break over an old reef and sand, creating an environment that's best suited for surfers with a good amount of experience.

The optimal swell direction for Logs is from the NorthEast, but it can also handle swells coming from the NorthWest. It works well with swell sizes starting from around 2ft (0.6 meters), making it a versatile spot for some quality surfing. The waves are primarily reef breaks that peel quickly to the right, so you'll want to be prepared for some fast rides. The best wind direction for this spot is from the SouthEast, and it can accommodate surfers during low, mid, and high tide, though having some experience is essential to make the most of the conditions.

Logs is definitely an expert-level spot, and it's not a great choice for novice surfers. Make sure you're ready to handle the fast, peeling waves and enjoy the ride. If you're up for the challenge, it's worth checking out when the swell is on point.
