The outside reef breaks at Laje Rasa can deliver some nice, slopey cutback shoulders that cater to intermediate surfers. The waves can handle swell sizes of around 3ft (about 0.9 meters), and they break left and right, making it a decent spot for various types of surfing. The best swell direction is east, but it can also work with swells coming from the northeast and south. When you're planning your session, keep in mind that the preferable wind direction is southwest, and all tide heights—low, mid, and high—are good times to surf. Just be prepared to work for those waves since it's not the most accessible spot.
