Last Chance surf guide

Last Chance is a surf spot that often serves as a reliable option when other locations in the area aren't hitting right. It's located down a boulder-lined point that can produce some decent waves, especially if you can navigate the access through private property. The name fits, as it can be a last resort for surfers looking for something worthwhile.

The spot typically works best on mid-sized NorthEast swells, where you can find some fast, hollow left-handers peeling off the point. It can handle swell sizes around 2ft to 6ft (0.6m to 1.8m) and tends to work well at low to mid tide. To get the best conditions, you want the wind coming from the west. Just keep in mind that it's mainly suited for intermediate surfers, so make sure you’re comfortable out there.

Accessing Last Chance can be a bit tricky, as you’ll need to get permission from a farmer to cross their land to reach the point. Also, it's recommended to keep your group small to avoid any issues with localism, which can sometimes be a concern here.
