Le Club surf guide

Le Club is a popular surf spot located in Anglet, known for its consistent waves and vibrant atmosphere. It’s a favorite among surfers, especially during the summer months. While the crowds can get pretty thick, it still offers some decent conditions for those looking to catch a few waves.

The spot works best with a northwest swell, but it can handle swells from the west and north as well. You can surf here with wave heights ranging from about 0.3 meters (1 ft) to over 2 meters. The waves break over sand, offering both left and right-handers. The best wind direction is east, and you’ll find it most favorable during low, mid, and high tides. Keep in mind that this spot is best suited for intermediate surfers, as the waves can pack a punch, especially when they hit around head high.

Access to the beach is straightforward, right in front of the Anglet Surf Club, which also has a webcam for everyone to check the conditions. Just be aware that finding a parking spot during the peak summer season can be quite a challenge!
