Lebih Surf Forecast Guide

Overview

Lebih is a right-hand reef break on Bali's east coast, breaking over a mix of uneven lava reef and sand. Sand carried down by the nearby rivermouth helps build the bank it breaks over.

When It Works

The reef draws swell from south to west (S-W), with a south (S) swell the best match. As on much of the east coast, that south swell hits the coast at a direct angle. It is a right-hander that works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft and is moderately consistent.

Wind and Tide

Look for north (N) offshore wind, and try to get there early, since morning land breezes tend to keep the face clean. It can work across low, mid, and high tide, but looks best at mid, with a rising tide generally the better call.

Local Tips

Lebih suits beginners and makes a more approachable option than the nearby Keramas lineup. Expect a fairly quiet lineup when it is working. Take care around the rivermouth, where water quality can suffer, and stay alert for rips and rocks that can appear without warning.
