Main Beach - Arugam Bay is a well-known surf spot located in Sri Lanka. It is popular among surfers for its setting and surfable waves. This beach usually sees a lot of activity, but it can sometimes be a bit hit or miss, especially with its close-out beachbreak. The area near the bridge is where you'll find some of the better conditions, particularly when a decent swell is rolling in.

The spot works best with a southeast swell direction, but it can also handle swells coming from the north and south.
