Overview
Mambo's / Reform is a gentle right-hander that reforms over sand in front of Mambo's guesthouse. It grooms tiny, clean walls close to shore, and because you can simply walk back up the beach between waves, it makes an easy, repeatable session for anyone finding their feet.
When It Works
The break draws swell from south through north (S-N), with southeast (SE) swell the best match. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.5 m / 5 ft, giving a usable window across small, waist-to-chest-high surf. Conditions are moderately consistent, with the occasional quieter spell.
Wind and Tide
The reform tends to stay clean and offshore, with southwest (SW) the offshore wind direction. It can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is a forgiving setup for beginners, with small, easy walls that are simple to catch and even simpler to paddle back for. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it works, since it's a quick session to grab in the heat of the day.
