Surf: The roads from here to Alexandria can prove difficult to access; soldiers involved in smuggling control many of them. There are a variety of fast, sand and sandstone bottom breaks along the Mersa Baghush stretch of coast in NW swells, but there is no access to the exposed promontory of Ras El Hekma where there is a presidential residence.
