Overview
Msdoud sits at the entrance of the small fishing port of Boujdour, where the waves tend to be fat, slow and mushy. It breaks over a mix of uneven reef and sand and peels both left and right.
When It Works
The spot draws swell from southwest through north and is usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft. The long, rocky beach stretching south of town struggles to pick up swell, so the peak by the port is generally the more dependable option.
Wind and Tide
Look for a southeast offshore wind. Msdoud can work across the tide, with a rising tide usually the better call.
Local Tips
Those slow, forgiving walls make this a comfortable spot for beginners.
