Overview
Pacifico is a long, hollow left-hander that breaks over live coral, sitting furthest north near San Isidro. The break carries some contest pedigree, hosting the North Siargao Surfing Challenge. Head up toward Burgos and Alegria and you'll find more fringing reef, potential waves, and pristine beaches.
When It Works
The reef draws swell from north to east, and northeast (NE) is the best match. It likes a bit of north in the swell to keep the wall from closing out. This is a consistent left that works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 3 m / 10 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for southwest (SW) offshore wind. The reef breaks through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
Pacifico suits intermediate surfers, and you can usually expect a fairly quiet lineup when it's on.
Access
There's free roadside parking to leave the car. Getting out means a long walk across the weedy reef lagoon, best done in booties.
