Pacifico surf guide

Pacifico is a surf spot located furthest north near San Isidro. It features a long, hollow left that works best with north swells, helping to prevent closures. The spot is accessible via a long walk over a weedy reef lagoon, so wearing booties is recommended for comfort and safety.

This spot is great for intermediate surfers. It handles swell sizes starting from around 2ft (0.6 meters) and can manage larger swells when the conditions are right. The optimal swell direction is from the northeast, but it can also work with north and east swells. When you're out there, you'll want to catch those lefts with the preferable wind coming from the southwest. No matter the tide, it works during low, mid, and high, making it quite versatile for your surf sessions.

Pacifico is not just a surf spot; it also hosts contests like the North Siargao Surfing Challenge. Further along, the coastline up toward Burgos and Alegria has more fringing reef and offers additional wave opportunities along pristine beaches. It’s a good spot to explore if you’re looking to mix it up a bit during your surf trip.
