Overview
Pullay is a sandy left point that throws up whackable berms and lazy shoulders. The river runs out behind the rocks here, and it doubles as a popular fishing spot for sea bass and sole.
When It Works
The point picks up swell from south through west and comes alive best on a southwest (SW) swell. It works from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, breaking left over sand, and tends to be moderately consistent.
Wind and Tide
Look for east (E) offshore wind, though the point isn't quite tucked in enough out of the wind. It can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
Pullay suits beginners and improvers, and you can expect a fairly quiet lineup.
Access
Access is easier here than at neighbouring Tregualemu.
