The final 100 meters of the wave is usually the most approachable, making it a decent spot if you’re looking to catch a ride after navigating the more difficult initial sections. Rag's Left isn't as consistent as nearby Thunders, and the ideal wind for this spot is from the SouthEast, so keep that in mind when planning your session. It's also worth noting that you can surf here at low, mid, or high tide, giving some flexibility in your outing.
