Overview
Rama Krishna Beach is the most popular spot along the Visag beach road, a rocky stretch that breaks over a mix of rock ledge and sand. It's a beach break that peels both left and right. When it isn't cooperating, Submarine Beach nearby is worth a look.
When It Works
The break draws swell from southwest through north to northeast, with northeast (NE) swell the best match, and it's usable from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft. Consistency is on the lower side here, noticeably less than the other Visag spots, so it can be hit or miss, with worthwhile windows when the swell lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest (NW) offshore wind. It tends to get messy in northeast to southwest trades and disorganised wind swell, so aim for cleaner days. The beach can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
It's a forgiving, beginner-friendly wave, and the lineup usually stays quiet.
