Serua Rights surf guide

Serua Rights is a surf spot known for its right-hand waves and laid-back vibe. Located in a scenic area, it provides surfers with a pretty decent place to catch some rides. While it's not the most famous spot around, it has its moments, especially when the conditions align just right. The spot tends to be less crowded, scoring around 4/10 for crowds, making it a good choice for those looking to escape the busier beaches.

This spot really shines with a southwest swell, handling sizes up to 3 feet (about 0.9 meters). The waves break over a Live Coral reef, offering a mix of fun rolls and more challenging sections as you approach the inside. With a nice ride that can take you from the angled roll-in through to a sucky backdoor section, it's a good spot for beginners. It works well on low, mid, and high tides, so tide isn’t much of a hassle, though you’ll want to keep an eye on the wind, as northwesterly conditions are preferable here.

If you’re looking for more waves, just across the pass is 420’s, a left that can offer equally long rides. While Serua Rights may not be a top-notch spot every time, it can deliver solid surf, especially for those just starting out. Good luck and have fun!
