Overview
Serua Rights is a right-hand reef break peeling over live coral. It can offer a long ride, opening with an angled roll-in, running through cutback shoulders in the middle, then draining into a sucky backdoor section as it hits the shallow inside reef.
When It Works
The break draws swell from south through southwest, with southwest (SW) the best match. It is usable from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft. Consistency can be a little hit or miss, so it rewards catching it on the right swell.
Wind and Tide
Tide is rarely the problem here, the wave works through most of the tide with a rising tide generally the better call. Wind is the bigger factor, so look for northwest (NW) offshore to clean it up.
Local Tips
Expect a quiet lineup, and the wave is approachable enough for beginners. Across the pass, a left known as 420's can mirror the rights with equally fun, long rides.
