Overview
Setiba Pina is a beachbreak tucked inside a nature reserve, with crystal-clean water and punchy A-frames peaking up towards the central rocks. The setting stays wild and open, with deserted sand running for miles to the north.
When It Works
The peaks break over sand and pick up swell from northeast through east-southeast to south (NE-ESE-S), with east (E) the optimal direction. An east swell really gets the lefts spitting, though the banks serve up both lefts and rights. It's usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, giving a wide working window, and it stays fairly consistent.
Wind and Tide
Look for west (W) offshore wind to clean it up. The break works through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This one suits intermediate surfers. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it's on, though it tends to quieten down mid-week.

There's a car park with free parking, plus restrooms and a surf shop close by.
